Artist I admire: Tim Sale
Tim Sale is an American comic artist who's drawn many famed comic book characters. His work is a great inspiration for me as his working style is something similar to how I work. I have also picked up many little techniques from his methods and images. He's a credit to the comic's industry.

Person I Admire: Kathy Lewis
Kathy Lewis is a local artist that I came upon by chance whilst out on an outing with my dad to Taurus Crafts in Lydney near Chepstow. I immediately feel in love with her use of Watercolours; the washyness but readable images. The paintings I really fell for though are the May Hill set, which consists of possibly 20 plus mini Paintings of the Gloucestershire landmark. They're so simple but so epic in the colour usage.
These images are two prints I brought from Kathy so I can gaze at them and feel inspired when drawing scenery.

Beloved Polar Bears
It made me smile at the odd couple having fun. This fun loving Polar providing entertainment for the chained up Husky is enough to make your day; well it made my day anyways. It's this sort of everyday animal antics that fuel me up and make me want to whip out some happy pictures.

Person I Admire: Kele Okereke
The front man of British band Bloc Party and now Solo artist, Kele has been a huge influence and inspiration for me; from his troubled life to his beautifully written songs.

He is nothing but awesome in my eyes.
Attempt Number 2
Well, it’s been some time since I last logged on here and posted a blog… In all fairness I’m only really doing a blog as it’s now been made a part of my Uni course. Not really a good start I know, but I will try to make something of it. Blogs are a good idea; I’m just funny about putting my ideas/interests etc. online. I’m not sure how it will turn out or what will be in here. I got a little list of good stuff to start with, then after that I will see where my life goes. My first 3 blogs on here aren’t very exciting; they’re more a means of venting frustration. Well, the Hockney one was good times.
But anyway, this is blog phase 2.
